Where facts come from
- Law and government sources first. For rules such as registration for foreign patients, we read the text of the law or the agency’s own publication.
- Public datasets for the map. Clinic locations and specialist counts come from the Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service, and registration status from the Seoul registry of institutions registered to attract foreign patients.
- News and other guides for context, checked against a primary source where we can.
What we do not do
- We do not publish prices we cannot source.
- We do not claim that a treatment works, is safe for everyone or gives a particular result.
- We do not rank clinics, take payment for placement or run sponsored recommendations.
- We do not describe personal experience we have not had.
